The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a show-cause notice to PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz for holding a rally in Sialkot.

The show-cause notice was issued to the League Vice President by the Returning Officer of LA-36 Jammu-3.

The text of the notice said that PTI candidate Hamid Raza had complained to him.

According to the notice, holding a meeting 48 hours before the polling starts is a violation of the code of conduct.

In the show-cause notice, Maryam Nawaz has been directed not to come into the constituency.
